Troy lives in Evansville, Indiana with his wife, Penny of 27 years. They have two grown children, Stephen & Megan and a three-year-old grandson, Nolan.

He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and watching his favorite teams. He loves the St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Steelers, Indiana University Basketball and Notre Dame Football.

Troy is an avid dart player and plays several nights a week, both in leagues and tournaments.

Troy attended the University of Southern Indiana and Indiana University-Bloomington where he majored in Theatre & Drama with an emphasis in technical theatre. He also studied Creative Writing at both schools.
